The Promise Keeping God

In 2 Samuel 5, we see God keeping promises made to David, to Abraham 800 years earlier, and ultimately pointing to the promise of redemption through Christ. David learned what we all must learn: God is not slow as we count slowness. His timing is perfect, even when we can't see it.
